You will have ample time to soak in the atmosphere of both locations, enjoy lunch, and even visit the world-famous film studios, where hits like Gladiator, Prince of Persia, or Game of Thrones were filmed.
Our route continues through the Skoura Oasis to Kelaat M'Gouna, famously known as the Valley of Roses. We will visit a local cooperative to discover the traditional process of distilling Damascus roses into oil and water, with an opportunity to purchase authentic natural cosmetics.
Finally, we arrive at the Dades Gorges, a series of dramatic limestone canyons carved by the Dades River, with walls reaching heights of 200 to 500 meters. We will spend the night in a charming riad or hotel, complete with a delicious traditional dinner.
2. day: Dades Gorge (Dades Valley) – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga / Erg Chebbi

Upon reaching Tinghir, a stunning oasis town, we will take a walk through the magnificent Todra Gorge. You will stroll beneath towering rock cliffs that soar up to 300 meters high - a popular destination for climbers worldwide. Along the base of the cliffs flows a gentle stream, offering a perfect spot to cool off during the warm summer days.
Erfoud, located in southeastern Morocco, is world-renowned for its extraordinary fossils. This region is famous for ancient marine life preserved in stone, dating back to a time when this desert was covered by warm prehistoric seas. You will have the opportunity to visit a local workshop to see how these treasures are processed.
From there, we continue to Merzouga, situated at the foot of the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. Here, your camels will be waiting to take you on an hour-and-a-half trek into the heart of the desert to witness an unforgettable sunset. We will spend the night in a luxury Saharan camp, where you can enjoy dinner under a canopy of stars, accompanied by traditional Berber music around the campfire.
3. day: Merzouga/Erg Chebbi - Rissani - Tazzarine - N'Kob - Marrakech
Waking up early, you will enjoy a spectacular sunrise over the dunes before we set off after breakfast.
Our first stop is Rissani, the ancient capital of the Alaouite Sultans. We will explore its famous traditional African market, where you can find the finest authentic spices. Depending on the schedule, we may visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Ali Cherif or a stone craft factory (specializing in sinks, fountains, and tiles).

Imperial Cities Tour: From Casablanca to the Blue City of Chefchaouen
Embark on a journey from Marrakech to discover the grandeur of the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca and the historic capital, Rabat. Explore the enchanting blue streets of Chefchaouen, the vibrant tanneries of Fes, and the picturesque, history-rich city of Meknes. Experience the very best of Morocco’s royal heritage in one unforgettable tour.
Day 1: Marrakech – Casablanca – Rabat
We will pick you up at your riad, hotel, or a pre-arranged meeting point to begin our seven-day journey through Morocco's most beautiful cities.
On our way to Casablanca, we will take a short break for coffee and snacks (the drive takes approximately 3 hours).
Upon arrival, we will visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, the largest in Morocco and the seventh largest in the world. Its minaret, standing at 210 meters, is the tallest in the world and features a laser beam pointing toward Mecca. Completed in 1993 by French architect Michel Pinseau, the mosque can accommodate 25,000 worshippers inside and another 80,000 in its courtyards. Notably, it is the only mosque in Morocco open to non-Muslim tourists.
Afterward, we continue to Rabat, the nation's capital and one of its Imperial Cities. As the seat of the King and the government, Rabat is a prestigious city and a center for higher education. Located on the Atlantic coast, it offers the perfect opportunity for a beach stroll or further exploration of its rich historical sites. We will spend our first night in a cozy, traditional riad with en-suite facilities.
Day 2: Rabat – Chefchaouen
Today, we will continue exploring the landmarks of Rabat before heading toward our next destination after a delicious lunch: Chefchaouen, the "Blue Pearl of Morocco," nestled at the foot of the Rif Mountains.
Beyond the striking blue-washed houses, this city is world-renowned for its picturesque, winding alleys and is arguably one of the most photogenic places in Morocco. The atmosphere here is truly unique and cannot be experienced anywhere else. We will stay overnight, giving you the perfect opportunity to enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the city from the terrace of a local restaurant.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Fes
Spend the day immersed in the magic of the "Blue City." You’ll have the chance to "get lost" in its sapphire streets and explore every corner of this fairytale town. For those seeking adventure, a hike into the surrounding nature offers breathtaking panoramic views. In the late afternoon, we will depart for our next destination: the historic city of Fes.
Day 4: Fes – The Soul of Morocco
Fes is unlike any other city; its Medina is a vast labyrinth of over 9,000 alleys where getting lost is part of the unique charm. Wandering through these streets allows you to soak up the true atmosphere and become part of the city's living history. You will enjoy a guided tour with a local expert while still having plenty of time for yourself. Don’t miss the city's greatest icon: the traditional Fes tanneries.
Day 5: Fes – Volubilis – Meknes
Our first stop today takes you two thousand years back in time. Volubilis is home to the best-preserved Roman ruins in Africa. It’s not just a collection of stones; it’s an open-air museum where breathtaking mosaics still shine as if finished yesterday. Walk beneath the triumphal arch and let yourself be enchanted by the ancient atmosphere, surrounded by olive groves and the rolling hills of northern Morocco.
Next, we visit Meknes, the most laid-back of the Imperial Cities. Surrounded by vineyards and slopes, Meknes offers a rich history and stunning monuments in a more tranquil setting.
Day 6: Meknes – Marrakech
Today, we return to the vibrant hustle and bustle of Marrakech, the final Imperial City of our journey—a place where something is always happening and there is always more to discover.
Day 7: Marrakech – The Red City
Enjoy a full day in this amazing city. With so many fascinating sites to choose from, the choice is yours. A local guide will show you the "top spots" of this legendary "Red City." Enjoy every moment!

Our final desert highlight is a visit to Khamlia, a village inhabited by the Gnawa people (descendants of enslaved people from Mali). You will experience their soulful music and unique lifestyle performed by the "Desert Pigeons" group. Feel free to join in the dance or simply soak up the atmosphere.

- these are the entrances to an ancient underground irrigation system
(qanat).

full of palm groves. Todra Gorge, the so-called rock cathedral (Todra
Gorge): where a monumental canyon is located. The rock walls here reach a
